Lab/Test Engineer

💻 THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to perform duties as a Lab/Test Engineer, for a project in the technology sector.
You will work with a content team, aligned to a “solution area” and support the course lab activities created by that team. You will support Content Developers on the team to maintain, and sometimes build lab steps for technical courses created and supported by that content team. Course lab steps need constant maintenance to support product, service, and UI changes.
Day to day tasks include reporting bug resolution status, performing lab steps and documenting any technical issues and updating the lab based on UI or service changes and creating new labs or lab steps. You will work with the course owners to resolve issues and determine focus or areas needing improvement.

💡 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proficient in English language (written and spoken)
- 2+ years of experience in one of the following technical areas:
- Experience with GitHub and Markdown
- Experience working with virtual machines
- Experience programming with Python and/or C#
- Experience with SQL and Power BI
- Nice to have skills:
- Familiarity with Azure AI Services APIs
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Spark-based data lakes
- Experience managing Microsoft 365
- Experience managing Microsoft Teams
- Experience managing devices/endpoints with Intune
- Experience deploying and managing Microsoft Windows
- Nice to have skills:
- Experience developing/Deploying/Designing Teams apps
- Experience writing PowerShell/CLI scripts for task automation
- Experience with screen captures and recording
- Experience working with GitHub
- Experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Razor Pages, PowerShell
- Experience deploying Azure services, managing Azure services
- Ability to research and find solutions to issues – strong troubleshooting skills
- GitHub repo management
- Nice to have skills:
- Experience with Python, Java, or other programming languages
- Writing and editing skills
