💻 THE JOB We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a Logistics Lead - Supply and Operational Management for a project in the telecommunications sector.
🙂YOUR DAY TO DAY
Responsible for designing and implementing projects, governance and continuous improvement opportunities in Logistics, through a solid understanding of the environment and working alongside stakeholders within SCM, the business and external partners.
Uses judgement based on functional knowledge of inventory and is expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, including: Use of methodologies to avoid over ordering / overstocking items in local markets and optimising inventory availability at lowest cost;
Manage tactical and operational planning ensuring that supply chain plans are fully integrated with business strategies
Manages 3rd party Logistics operations and responsible to deliver highest service levels
Supports overall governance of Logistics through helping to shape standards and rules.
Helps to identify process improvement and optimization opportunities, defining best practices and ensuring logistics processes complement one another and deliver value.
Tracks value associated with deployed initiatives and provides insight to senior management.
Typically reports to Logistics Manager /Head of Logistics.
💡WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
8+ years of applicable work experience in Logistics operations management (warehousing, inbound , outbound, distribution, reverse logistics operations etc).
A university degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering is essential. Advanced degrees (Masters/MBA) or professional certifications are highly preferred, showcasing your commitment to excellence and professional growth.
Excellence in internal and external stakeholder management and business partnering.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English
