💻 THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to take on the role of Software Technical Designer for a project in the ecommerce sector.
🙂 RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clarify project scope, objectives, and deliverables;
- Create and maintain project plan of digital backend impacts (in JIRA) with the estimated timelines and a highlight of the dependencies;
- Collaborate closely with other teams (feature teams, architects, backoffice teams…) to design performant and scalable solutions;
- Document technical specifications and decisions in Confluence;
- Create and manage technical user stories for the developers in JIRA;
- Assist (frontend, backend) developers in case of questions during the build phase;
- Conduct partial technical testing to validate implementations;
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation of the products;
- Analyze and help resolve support tickets assigned to the digital backend team;
- Facilitate agile rituals such as dailies, retrospectives.
- Computer science degree;
- Good ecommerce knowledge and skills with a proven track record (minimum of 5 years);
- Knowledge and practice of Backend APIs development constraints, design patterns (particularly within the Microservice Architecture);
- Good skills in software technical design: sequence diagram, flows modeling between frontend, back for front and Backoffice, API design;
- Experience in redacting technical specifications in Confluence and technical user stories for developers in JIRA, with good writing skills;
- Understanding of the technical constraints of a wide ecommerce omnichannel digital system (web performance, scalability, observability, dashboarding and alerting constraints, WebView management);
- Ability to communicate with the other teams (functional product owners, front developers, architects, OPS, support…) and to formalize meeting outputs;
- Ability to manage project priorities (and deadlines);
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
