💻 THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a Production Support for a national project.
🙂 YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Proactively monitor, manage, and improve the availability and performance of production environments — covering all layers from presentation and application to middleware and databases;
- Provide escalation support as part of the Follow-the-Sun operational model;
- Proactively manage capacity for production applications to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization;
- Customize and enhance production tools, including monitoring systems, batch scheduling, backups, deployment tools, and automation frameworks;
- Provide feedback and propose solutions to management regarding performance and capacity improvements.
- Proven professional experience in similar roles;
- Experienced with Windows and Linux/Unix environments, including IIS, .NET, WCF, WebLogic Application Server, Apache, Tomcat, and Java EE;
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Geneos, Introscope, Dynatrace, Autosys, and Dollar Universe (preferred);
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, and SQL for administration, monitoring, and support tool development;
- Strong understanding of production support processes, including change and release management, as well as incident and problem management, with working knowledge of ITIL best practices;
- Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases;
- Fluency in English (written & spoken).
