💻 THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as an Application Production Support for a project in the banking sector.
🙂 YOUR DAY TO DAY
- First Point of Contact: Act as the primary contact for all IT Production-related tasks and enquiries, providing support and guidance to end-users, Developers, and Business Analysts.
- Incident and Request Management: Track, manage, and resolve incidents, support requests, problems, and changes using the ITSM toolset, ensuring restoration of IT services within agreed SLAs and following Incident Management processes.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor infrastructure and application layers for all vital and non-vital applications, adopting Group and cluster guidelines, IT best practices, and IT Security recommendations to ensure smooth operation.
- Release and Testing Support: Prepare environments for releases, conduct pre-production tests, and ensure successful implementation, while also maintaining the necessary knowledge to handle IT Production support needs.
- Communication and Availability: Manage communication with internal clients, guarantee on-call availability during required time windows (if applicable), and provide timely updates to ensure seamless IT Production support and collaboration with stakeholders.
💡 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience with SQL across multiple platforms, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Sybase
- Proficient in Windows and Windows Server environments, as well as Linux (RHEL) and UNIX (AIX)
- Knowledge of secure file transfer solutions such as CFT, MQ, FTaaS, FTP, SFTP, and PeSIT
- Hands-on experience with batch processing, Autosys, DevOps/SecDevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace
- Familiarity with banking processes and systems is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of LAN, VPN, LDAP, and Active Directory
- Skilled in encryption technologies (PGP, GPG) and security protocols including TLS/SSL, SSH, PKI, certificates, and vulnerability scanning (SAST/DAST)
- Experience with DMZ/dMZR, virtual machines, cloud environments, load balancers, and firewalls
- Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models
- Proficient in IT service management tools and methodologies, including ServiceNow, JIRA, ITSM, and Agile frameworks
- Fluency in English
