 💻 THE ROLE

We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a GRC Consultant for a project in the 

Defense and Security sector.


🙂 YOUR DAY TO DAY
 

• Execution of security risk assessments for IT projects and initiatives, ensuring compliance with internal policies, standards, and reference frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, DORA, GDPR).
• Participation in planning and solution design phases, assessing security impacts and proposing mitigating controls. Direct involvement with project, architecture, development, infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to gather the information required for risk assessment.
• Validation of security requirements during procurement processes and third‑party onboarding.
• Execution of phishing simulations and awareness campaigns.
• Response to audit requests (internal, external, supervisory authorities) by providing evidence, justifications, and documentation of implemented controls. Technical implementation of security controls.
• Identification, follow‑up, and validation of vulnerability remediation actions, in coordination with other teams.
• Maintenance of security monitoring, using dedicated platforms. Follow‑up and investigation of security alerts.
• Participation in incident response activities, including root‑cause analysis, containment, eradication, and support for digital forensics.
• Support to the secure development lifecycle, including penetration testing, vulnerability identification, and security architecture review.
• Regular review of access control policies and user privileges.
• Follow‑up of action plans to ensure compliance and alignment with standards and regulations.
• Creation of reports and dashboards for technical and non‑technical audiences.

💡 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
 

• Higher education in  Computer Engineering or related fields,
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including malware, phishing, ransomware, DDoS, and intrusion techniques.
• Experience with security tools and platforms, such as  SIEM (e.g., QRadar, Azure Sentinel),  EDR (e.g., Microsoft Defender),  Firewalls and VPNs,  DLP  (e.g., Microsoft Purview).
• Proficiency with network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
• Familiarity with scripting or programming ( Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of systems, networks, and application architecture.
• Cloud security knowledge (Azure AD, IAM, Conditional Access).
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, DORA, GDPR).
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
