 💻 THE ROLE

We are looking for a #TechTalent to perform duties as a FinOps  & Cost Optimization Analyst for a internacional project in the Industry and Engineering sector.
 

🙂 YOUR DAY TO DAY

License & SaaS Inventory

• Consolidate full inventory of IT licenses across all BUs (M365, SAP, security tools, SaaS, subscriptions).
• Align with Product Owners, CISO and ISMS stakeholders.

Cloud Cost Visibility

• Establish end-to-end Azure and AWS cost transparency.
• Categorize spend by BU, environment (prod/dev/test) and workload.

Optimization & Savings Identification

• Assess actual usage vs. licensed capacity.
• Identify overprovisioning, redundancies, unused assets and oversized resources.
• Prioritize opportunities based on business impact.

Business Cases & Vendor Management

• Develop cases for renegotiation, consolidation and contract termination.
• Lead vendor negotiations in coordination with Legal.

Cloud Rightsizing

• Optimize infrastructure (idle resources, oversized instances, reservation gaps)
• Coordinate execution with Infrastructure & Cloud teams

Reporting & Governance

• Track and validate savings 
• Provide evidence for reporting
• Transition validated savings to PMO & Governance

💡 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3–5 years in FinOps, Software Asset Management (SAM/ITAM), IT Procurement or IT Cost Management.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, Apptio or equivalent tools.
• Strong Microsoft licensing knowledge (M365, Azure EA/MCA, True-Up processes).
• Experience with SaaS contract negotiations.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Fluent English.
• German is advantageous.
