💻 THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as a Production Support for a national project.
🙂 YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Incident Management:
- Respond to and resolve application-related incidents and service requests.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, escalating to higher-level support when necessary.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- Problem Management:
- Identify and document recurring issues and work with the team to implement solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
- Change Management:
- Assist in the implementation of changes to application environments.
- Ensure changes are documented and communicated effectively to all stakeholders
- User Support:
- Provide first-level support to end-users, addressing their queries and issues.
- Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitor application performance and health, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure stability and performance of applications.
- Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed.
💡 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application support or a similar role.
- Experience with application support in a production environment.
- Knowledge of incident and problem management processes.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools, such as ServiceNow.
- Basic understanding of scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Good Working knowledge on databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace/Geneos).
- Hands on knowledge on Scheduling Tools like Autosys/Crontab.
- Appreciation of production processes, including change and release management.
- Incident and problem management skills, with knowledge of ITIL.
- Fluency in English (written & spoken).
